Notebook on Cats and Pigeons is an audio-visual work that poetically explores the oft-bemoaned West Midlands city of Coventry. Filmed between January and April 2016, it incorporates narrated literature by Wim Wenders and musical improvisation by reedist Sarah Laughton and guitarist Andy Whitehead. The body of work invites audiences to challenge their preconceptions, not only of Coventry, but also of notions to do with the self, performance and our personal relationship with the city.
